At our November meeting, we will hear about the ongoing search for Axions at the University of Washington. These hypothetical particles could solve some deep problems in quantum mechanics and Dark Matter – if they can be shown to exist. This will be  visit to the cutting edge of research.

In the winter months, we meet in a large classroom in the hospital, rather than the Providence Auditorium itself. Just go to the Auditorium entrance, and there should be members there who can direct you to the meeting room.

Remember, parking is free after 7:00 PM; no need to feed the meters.
